Research background
The literature places GHK-Cu in extracellular matrix remodelling: in cultured dermal fibroblasts it stimulates synthesis of collagen I and III, of glycosaminoglycans, and of cell migration itself, and its antioxidant capacity against oxidative tissue damage has been studied. Gene-expression panels in skin and other tissues describe it reversing part of the pattern associated with ageing and damage — laboratory findings, not a clinical demonstration in people. Its affinity for copper also sets it apart from other tripeptides: where free GHK barely lasts in circulation, the complex resists enzymatic degradation long enough to be studied in topical preparations.
What has been published about what it contains
Handling
- It arrives as a lotion, ready to use: there is nothing to reconstitute or dilute.
- Do not mix it with other solutions or transfer it to any container other than the original.
- Handle it with gloves on a clean surface; avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
- Close the container tightly after each opening so the formulation neither oxidises nor becomes contaminated.
Storage and stability
- In a cool place, protected from direct light. Unopened it does not need refrigeration.
- Once the container is open the formulation is less stable: use it within a reasonable period and do not leave it uncapped.
